First 2 x Recruit and Train Packages a Big Success

We are very happy to have recently completed with strong positive feedback our first two placements from our Advertise / Recruit / Train packages.

This further motivates us in our desire to provide recruitment in a totally new and improved format, where attention, personal development and acquiring new skills is included and a big win for all.

Scenario 1 – Long time Legal Accounts Manager learns a completely new legal accounting software

We always get great satisfaction seeing new starters grow into and love their new role. We were presented with a challenge to recruit a Legal Accounts Manager for a small firm who had recently changed practice management software. We successfully proposed and delivered on a plan where greater emphasis was on finding a match who integrates well into our client’s office, and someone who is motivated for the long term, and less emphasis on whether they have experience using a particular accounting software package. With a shift in focus, more candidates were available which allowed us to find a great match to the firm’s culture and their small busy office dynamic.  This was only possible as we were able to fast track development, tailoring an immediate then staggered training plan on the software package they were learning from scratch. We are very happy with the outcome and they new starter continues to call on us regularly for general advice on the nuances of the software, best practice advice, and hands on support to correct some accounting transactions made by a former bookkeeper.

Scenario 2 – Learning new skills to take a step up as a Legal Accounts Manager

Managing the end to end legal accounts function for a firm of 30 people as a standalone person is a daunting task. We successfully sourced suitable candidates and supported the law firm and their chosen new starter by removing some of the early stresses by stepping in as processing support for selected duties for the first 2 weeks. By reducing the new starters workload it allowed focus to remain on learning the new skills required as this was a step up from their previous position. Gradually we handed over our caretaker duties which also accompanied training on all elements they’d had limited exposure to previously. We continue to provide for on-demand training and support and have been engaged more broadly to find further automation efficiencies in this and other areas of the firm such as precedent automation.
